The Role
We're looking for a
Chef de Partie
to join the talented kitchen team at
The Builders Arms
, a charming Kensington institution and one of the standout pubs in the Cubitt House collection. Nestled just off Kensington High Street, The Builders Arms combines a warm neighbourhood atmosphere with beautifully executed, seasonally inspired British dishes. It's a much-loved local favourite where style, comfort, and quality come together in true Cubitt House fashion.
As Chef de Partie, you'll take charge of your own section, working with fresh, seasonal British ingredients to deliver exceptional dishes that uphold our Cubitt House standards. You'll work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef, supporting the smooth running of the kitchen and contributing to a positive, professional team culture.
Key Responsibilities
Run your own section, delivering consistently high-quality dishes.
Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to maintain culinary excellence.
Prepare and cook seasonal, fresh ingredients to Cubitt House standards.
Uphold the highest kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.
Support the team with prep, stock rotation, and smooth daily kitchen operations.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Commis Chef ready to step up.
A passion for fresh, seasonal British cooking.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining standards.
A positive, can-do attitude and a team player's mindset.
