Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and quality standards Assist in the organisation and setup of workstations before service Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area throughout shifts Monitor food stock levels and communicate shortages or needs to management Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods Adhere to portion control guidelines and presentation standards Support other kitchen staff as needed, including meal preparation and plating

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant setting Knowledge of food safety procedures and hygiene standards Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and culinary practices Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment is desirable Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings if required
