Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partei to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to perfection and served promptly to our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and measuring
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service
Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management
Follow all health and safety guidelines while handling food items
Contribute to menu development by suggesting new dishes or improvements to existing ones
Requirements
Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant setting
Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques
Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
Previous experience in meal preparation is an advantage
