Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Assist in the organisation and maintenance of the kitchen workspace, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene are upheld at all times Follow food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Support meal preparation during busy service periods, ensuring timely delivery of orders Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent guest service Maintain stock levels by assisting with inventory checks and replenishing supplies as needed Ensure all equipment is used safely and correctly, reporting any faults or hazards promptly

Experience

Previous experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant environment is highly desirable Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices Experience in meal preparation and handling various ingredients efficiently Serving experience is beneficial but not essential; a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service is required Culinary training or qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory
