We're looking for a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at Ottolenghi Islington. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and creative chef who thrives in a busy,vibrant environment and loves working with bold flavours and fresh,seasonal ingredients.
What you'll be doing
As Chef de Partie,you'll play a key role in delivering the dishes that make Ottolenghi special. Your day-to-day will include:
Preparing and cooking dishes across your section to Ottolenghi standards Managing mise en place to keep service smooth and efficient Supporting with deli items such as salads,pastries,and counter dishes Assisting with preparation and packing for catering orders when required Keeping your section clean,organised,and consistently service-ready Working closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team to maintain quality,creativity,and consistency
What we're looking for
You'll bring strong technical skills,reliability,and a positive,proactive attitude. Ideally,you'll have:
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie,or a strong Demi Chef ready to step up Confidence working in a busy kitchen environment Strong organisational and time management skills A keen eye for detail and presentation A commitment to teamwork,learning,and maintaining high hygiene standards
