Duties

Prepare ingredients and cook menu items following recipes and presentation standards Assist in the organisation of the kitchen to ensure smooth service during busy periods Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands Monitor stock levels and notify management of shortages or replenishment needs Support the team in meal preparation for special events or catering as required Follow health and safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe working environment Serve dishes promptly and professionally to guests, ensuring customer satisfaction

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new techniques Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
