As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service needs.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workstations.
Follow food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene practices at all times.
Assist in the inventory management of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant setting.
Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques and methods.
Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices for hygiene in the kitchen.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
