We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef De Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Chef De Partie, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and food safety, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of excellence.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and making sauces
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all dishes are prepared in a safe and hygienic manner.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Experience
Previous experience as a chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred.
Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures is essential.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for meal preparation is highly desirable.
Ability to work clean and efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members in a busy kitchen environment.
