As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality dishes to our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of meals.
Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen setting.
Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
A passion for culinary arts and a willingness to learn new techniques.
