We are seeking a skilled and passionate CDP to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and safety, with a keen interest in creating delicious meals in a fast-paced Spanish restaurant environment.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Assist in the organisation of the kitchen and maintain cleanliness.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
Help with the training of new kitchen staff as required.
Participate in menu planning and suggest improvements based on customer feedback.
Requirements
Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of Spanish food and food safety practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills within the kitchen environment.
Evuna is distributing tips between all staff. We pay hourly but our CDPs are averaging a salary of 35-37 k a year
