Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Assist in meal preparation to ensure timely service during busy periods Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and utensils Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times Ensure all ingredients are stored correctly and stock levels are maintained Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional dining experiences Assist with plating and presentation of dishes to meet quality standards Support the kitchen team during busy service hours, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant environment Strong knowledge of food safety procedures and hygiene standards Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Good understanding of meal preparation techniques and culinary practices Ability to work as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills Previous serving experience is advantageous but not essential Passion for culinary arts and a keen eye for detail
