As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and cooking of dishes, ensuring that every plate meets our standards of excellence.
Duties
Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and menu specifications
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment
Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to, including proper storage and handling of ingredients
Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager
Contribute creative ideas for menu items or specials based on seasonal ingredients
Qualifications
Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting
Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
