We are seeking a dedicated and passionate chef to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety and kitchen operations, with a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment.
As a chef de partie , you will play a vital role in meal preparation and food preparation, ensuring that each dish meets our restaurant's standards for taste and presentation.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Follow food safety protocols to ensure the highest quality of food hygiene.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies when necessary. following stock rotation rules.
Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and culinary techniques is highly desirable.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
A passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field.
