Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery of orders during busy service periods Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations Monitor ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock levels are low Ensure all food is presented attractively and served at the correct temperature Follow health and safety procedures diligently to uphold hygiene standards Support team members in the kitchen to ensure smooth operation during service hours Adhere to restaurant policies regarding food handling, storage, and sanitation

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal presentation Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, especially in fast-paced settings Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members Serving experience is beneficial, demonstrating customer-focused service skills Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
