The Renaissance at kelham hall are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, along with a keen understanding of food safety practices. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality and consistency. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods. Follow all food safety protocols to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are maintained.

Requirements

Previous kitchen experience is essential; culinary experience is highly desirable. Experience in events service Strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals that delight customers. Salary to be discussed as per experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
