We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a strong commitment to food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of excellence. This position requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining quality and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
Help with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed.
Participate in menu planning and development, providing input on new dishes.
Skills
Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food safety practices.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Attention to detail with a focus on quality and presentation of food.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
