The Pilgrim Hotel are looking for a Chef de Partie to join our team working on a part time basis.
Summary
We are seeking for a Chef de Partie to join our culinary team this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that our guests enjoy delicious dining experiences.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients and meal components as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies when necessary.
Support the head chef in menu planning and special events.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a restaurant setting.
Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
