Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team with pizza experience to help support the re-opening of our pizza menu! The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, with a strong understanding of food safety and kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that each dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food safety protocols are followed, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager. Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any maintenance issues promptly. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen environment. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation. A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new techniques. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 13.00-14.98 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
