We are seeking a skilled Trainee Pizza Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team here at Francesco's. The ideal candidate will have a strong can do positive attitude and a commitment to food safety and quality. As a Pizza Chef you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that every dish is prepared to the highest standards and served promptly.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management. Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.

Requirements

Previous basic work experience (Any) Passionate about food safety practices and culinary techniques. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality dishes. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A willingness to progress in the job role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
