We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment while adhering to food safety regulations. Your culinary expertise will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
Assist in the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Participate in menu planning and suggest improvements based on customer feedback.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy kitchen setting.
A passion for cooking and creativity in meal presentation.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
