Duties

Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery during busy service periods Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in line with regulations Organise and clean workstations before, during, and after service shifts Support other kitchen staff with food preparation and plating as needed Ensure all food is stored correctly and waste is minimised Follow health and safety procedures diligently to uphold a safe working environment Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by collaborating effectively with colleagues

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Passion for cooking and eagerness to learn new techniques Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by the business
