Founded in London in 2017 Zephyr is a fiercely independent burger restaurant with a focus on utilising the best beef and amazing ingredients to create memorable experiences. After a relocation from London to Plymouth in 2020 Zephyr has built a reputation for downright addictive smash burgers and banging chef driven sides.

We are looking for a part time chef to join the Zephyr Burgers team

With a new programme to develop dish ideas from with our team there will be plenty of opportunities to work on dish creation and menu development.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Ensure that food is prepared in a timely manner and meets food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set-up for all dishes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the line

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a cook or chef required
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
