We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our busy kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all food safety standards are met. Duties

Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery of orders during busy service hours Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, and fryers Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all staff Support the team with additional tasks such as plating, garnishing, and serving when required Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent customer service

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering environment (Preferred) Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours Good organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation and quality control Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff Flexibility to adapt to different roles within the kitchen as needed Prior experience in serving or front-of-house roles is advantageous but not essential

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
