We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. This role is perfect for a dedicated chef eager to develop their skills while working with fresh, seasonal ingredients in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes.
Ensure consistency and excellence in food presentation.
Assist in menu planning and contribute creative ideas using seasonal ingredients.
Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness.
Manage stock levels, minimise waste, and assist with inventory checks.
Work efficiently under pressure and collaborate with the team to ensure smooth service.
Support junior kitchen staff when needed.
Must be a team player
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Chef de Partie in a professional kitchen.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation.
Passion for working with fresh, seasonal produce.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Food safety and hygiene certification is a plus.

Who are we?
Kinsbrook started as a vineyard and wine producer just outside the village of Thakeham, West Sussex. In November 2022, we opened the doors of Kinsbrook Farmhouse, a Sussex-barn-style building that serves as the heart of our hospitality offering.
The upstairs of Kinsbrook Farmhouse is home to our Restaurant, where we serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner on selected days. Downstairs, we offer a mixed venue combination of a cafe, deli, and wine bar, open seven days a week. Both areas fall under the remit of the kitchen team, who oversees the food planning and execution of these areas.
During the summer months, we expand our offerings onto the patio, creating a lively seasonal space where we operate pizza ovens, BBQ, and a dedicated patio menu. This seasonal extension brings a casual yet elevated dining experience to complement the peak season's lively atmosphere.
The restaurant features an open-plan kitchen, a floor dining area and a balcony that offers stunning views of the surrounding vineyard. and in use from spring to Autumn. Open all year round, Kinsbrook Farmhouse provides a warm and inviting environment for our guests.
