As a Chef De Partie, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and cooking, ensuring that every dish meets our restaurant's standards for taste and presentation.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients as required.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant setting.
Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
Previous kitchen experience is highly desirable, with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
