Responsibilities
Prepare and cook dishes within designated sections, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
Supervise junior potashes' and kitchen porters, providing guidance and training as needed
Oversee food production processes, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with health regulations
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely food service during shifts
Monitor food safety practices and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
Support with buffets and parties, ensuring seamless execution from preparation to service
Experience
Proven kitchen experience essential
Knowledge of dietary requirements and food handling safety protocols
Experience in food production, inventory management, and kitchen operations
Needs to be able to work well with a small team
Immediate start - full and part time available
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: 10.00-13.00 per hour
