We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a commitment to food safety and quality. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that each dish is prepared to the highest standards and served promptly. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Assist in the organisation of the kitchen and maintain cleanliness throughout the cooking area. Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements. Maintain equipment and utensils, ensuring they are clean and in good working order.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques or recipes.

Hours are 35 a week. Rotas are flexed to be fair and opportunity for every other weekend off. Pay is based on experience.
