We are seeking dedicated and skilled chefs to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a chef de partie you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are adhered to at all times.
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and cooking ingredients.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area throughout the shift.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages to the kitchen manager.
Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred but not essential.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent culinary skills with a passion for cooking and food preparation.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
