Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de partie to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation and cooking, ensuring that every dish is prepared to perfection. This position requires a strong work ethic, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and excellent teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are followed at all times. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and measuring. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in meal preparation. Strong culinary skills with the ability to follow recipes accurately. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. A genuine passion for cooking and creating high-quality dishes.
