We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen understanding of food safety standards. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of the kitchen.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstations
Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene practices at all times
Assist in meal preparation for special events and functions as required
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies are low
Requirements
Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant setting
Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques
Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals
Previous experience in food preparation or serving is advantageous
