Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our culinary team and work with our Head Chef. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences by preparing meals efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service requirements Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene practices Assist in meal preparation for special events or large orders as needed Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies are low Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols

Qualifications

Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant setting Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues Previous experience in meal preparation and serving is an advantage A passion for cooking and creating delicious dishes that delight customers
