Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to recipes and quality standards Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery during busy service periods Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations Monitor stock levels and notify management of shortages or replenishment needs Follow health and safety guidelines at all times, including proper handling of food products Serve dishes promptly to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and culinary principles Experience working in a fast-paced setting with the ability to multitask effectively Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to work well as part of a team under pressure Previous restaurant experience is desirable but not essential; enthusiasm for learning is equally valued
