In this role, you'll help craft high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining consistency, care, and the highest food-safety standards. Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to specified recipes and presentation standards Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workstation, adhering to food safety regulations Assist with meal preparation during busy periods, supporting the kitchen team as needed Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all staff Monitor stock levels and notify management of any shortages or equipment issues Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer service when required

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering environment Strong knowledge of kitchen safety practices and food hygiene standards Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and assist with serving when necessary Culinary experience that demonstrates creativity and passion for food preparation
