We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining high quality and presentation.
Assist with meal preparation and food preparation tasks as required.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
Requirements
Previous kitchen experience is essential; restaurant experience is highly desirable.
Proven culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques.
Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
