We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Chef de partie to join our culinary team. You will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen operations, ensuring that food preparation and production meet our high standards of quality and safety. The Ragged Cot:
The Ragged Cot is a picturesque, boutique country inn and restaurant housed in a 16th-century coaching house. It blends rustic charm with modern comforts. Located in Minchinhampton, just outside Stroud, backing onto National Trust land and the building is believed to date back to around 1610.
Main Responsibilities
Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and meets quality standards
Resolve issues that arise and take control of any problematic situations
Manage, train, and supervise kitchen staff
Provide direction to kitchen personnel and communicate tasks clearly
Order supplies and manage inventory
Ensure compliance with sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers
Produce high-quality plates, focusing on both design and taste
Ideal Candidate
Qualifications
Previous experience as DCDP or CDP
4+ years of experience in the hospitality and catering industry
Previous experience in a food manufacturing facility is a plus
Ability to work rotating shifts (day, afternoon, night) depending on the company's needs
Having a car will be an advantage due to the nature of the location.
Only those eligible to work in the UK or have a valid UK work visa will be considered for the above position.

Pay: 28,000.00-32,000.00 per year
