Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Assist in the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Maintain a positive working relationship with team members, fostering a collaborative environment. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting. culinary skills with an emphasis on food preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight guests.
