Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards Assist in the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations Support the team during busy service periods, maintaining efficiency and quality Measure ingredients accurately for meal preparation Ensure all food is stored correctly and rotation procedures are followed Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any maintenance issues promptly Collaborate with kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for guests

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team A genuine passion for culinary arts and customer service excellence
