Job Description

Full time position, 5 days per week, approximately 40 hours per week,

NO SPLIT SHIFTS

Previous experience is essential and you must possess relevant Health and Hygiene certificates.

You will be required to work as part of a busy team within the kitchen of a 90-bedroom Hotel, Golf and Country Club.

Job Role:

Ensure all preparation of the designated section is complete and ready for each service

Run & Supervise any kitchen section to the required standards set by management

Responsible for orders and maintaining good stock and waste control

Responsible for the quality control of stock and prepared foods

Execute cooking to the expected high standard quickly & efficiently

Ensure the cleanliness & Organisation of the designated section, including fridges monitored and maintained to the required standard

Support head & sous Chef in delivering required standard of food and kitchen operation

Effectively delegate jobs to junior chefs

Comply with all health & Safety regulations

Prepare menus in collaboration with colleagues

Check & ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food

Own transport required due to early start and late finishing times.

Salary negotiable depending on experience.
