Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstations.
Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the highest quality of food handling.
Assist in meal preparation for special events or large groups as required.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service periods.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant setting.
Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques.
