Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain high standards within your assigned kitchen section.
Assist senior chefs in menu delivery according to specifications.
Perform all necessary cleaning duties as per the cleaning schedule and complete daily and weekly paperwork accurately.
Work with urgency and meticulous attention to detail.
Exhibit a strong desire to learn and grow, with a passion for food.
Maintain full awareness of menu items, recipes, allergens, and presentation standards.
Provide flexible support across various service needs: breakfast, lunch, snacks, afternoon tea, evening dining, Sunday lunch, and festive/seasonal services.
Supervisory Responsibility
Support and mentor junior team members, helping them develop their skills and confidence.
Financial Responsibility
No budgetary control. However, you will contribute to profit generation by ensuring accurate menu costing and responsible handling of food produce to minimize wastage.
Area of Impact
Your work will primarily focus on your assigned kitchen but may involve collaboration within group food projects.

to protect visitors, staff, volunteers, and contractors.
Person Specification
Essential Criteria:
At least
one year of experience
in a similar role.
Basic knife skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to maintain a tidy work environment.
Understanding of stock management.
Professional, hardworking, and enthusiastic attitude towards learning.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
High standards of personal hygiene.
Desirable Criteria:
Food Safety Level 2 certification
