As a Chef de Partie at Royal Scotsman, A Belmond Train, you are part of a team that creates and produces the highest quality cuisine. Primary Responsibilities Include:

This is a seasonal role which runs until November. Preparing the mis en place required for a smooth kitchen operation and ensuring that the section is set prior to service. Ensuring adherence to all relevant health, safety and hygiene standards for the kitchen. Ensuring that the quality & quantity standards of preparation and presentation are adhered to. Preparing menus in collaboration with colleagues. Directing, guiding and assisting commis chefs.

Requirements:

What You Bring:

Applicants must have eligibility to work in the UK. 2-4 years' relevant experience within a similar role, preferably within the luxury hospitality industry. Relevant culinary or hospitality diploma or certificate, e.g. graduate from a Hotel Management Institute or Food Production Course. Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure. Knowledge of best cooking practices.
