We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and cooking equipment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager. Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety practices. Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. A genuine passion for cooking and meal preparation, with an eagerness to learn and grow within the culinary field.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.61-13.75 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week
