Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for food and a desire to develop their culinary skills. The ideal candidate will have previous kitchen experience, a strong understanding of food safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities



Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to specified recipes and standards Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations throughout shifts Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times Assist in plating and presentation of dishes to ensure visual appeal Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations Restock ingredients and supplies as needed during shifts Support the team during busy periods, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency

Requirements



Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or similar kitchen roles Knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation processes Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment is desirable Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Good organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings if required Serving experience is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is important

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-14.53 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 40 per week
