Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Adhere to food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and storage.
Assist in the training of new kitchen staff as needed.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
Help with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and checking stock levels.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred, with a focus on meal preparation and culinary skills.
Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is essential.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
A genuine passion for cooking and creating high-quality dishes that delight guests.
