We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CDP to join our vibrant kitchen team.

As a CDP, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant by preparing high-quality meals and maintaining food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks, ensuring efficiency in the kitchen. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Follow food safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure the highest quality of dishes. Help train new kitchen staff as needed, sharing knowledge of culinary techniques and restaurant procedures.

Requirements

Proven experience as a cook or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant environment. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. Passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques and cuisines. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
