We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Assist in the organisation and setup of workstations before service
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area throughout shifts
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Monitor food stock levels and notify management when supplies need replenishing
Ensure all dishes are presented attractively and served promptly
Support the team during busy periods by assisting with additional tasks as needed
Experience
Previous experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices
Experience with meal preparation, plating, and serving in a fast-paced setting is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively within a team environment
