Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our busy kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all meals meet our standards for taste, presentation, and food safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable restaurant experience within a supportive team. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate in Thai and will extensive culinary knowledge of Royal Thai cuisine. There is a possibility of accommodation with this role, locally, within walking distance of the business. We offer monthly paid salary together with a share of tronc divided equally amongst the team.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to recipes and specifications Ensure all meals are prepared efficiently and to the highest quality standards Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations Assist with meal assembly and plating to ensure attractive presentation Follow health and safety guidelines at all times, including proper handling of food and equipment Support the team during busy service periods, maintaining a positive attitude and professional demeanour Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management when required

Experience

Previous experience working in a Thai kitchen environment or restaurant setting is essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of Thai food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards is required Experience with meal preparation, serving, or culinary tasks will be considered a necessity Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail A passion for food and a willingness to learn new skills within a dynamic team environment

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
