Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef De Partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and kitchen management, with experience in fine dining and catering environments. As a CDP, you will play a crucial role in supporting the other Chefs in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining exceptional standards of food safety and hygiene.

Duties

Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and recipe development to create innovative dishes that meet guest expectations. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to minimize waste. Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Coordinate banquet services and special events, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality meals. Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation, ensuring adherence to established standards. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling practices.

Experience

Proven experience as a CDP or in a similar role within the food industry. Strong culinary skills with a focus on fine dining and catering experiences. Demonstrated ability in team management and leadership within a kitchen environment. Familiarity with dietary department operations is a plus. Experience in inventory management, menu planning, and shift management is essential. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
