We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef De Partie to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food and cooking, with a strong understanding of food safety and preparation techniques. As a CDP, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while delivering high-quality meals to our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management as needed.
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and kitchen procedures.
Experience
Previous experience as a chef is essential.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is required.
Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures is advantageous.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting are essential.

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour dependent on experience & generous Tronc share on top
Expected hours: 35-48 per week
