We are seeking a skilled and passionate CDP to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared efficiently and to perfection, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to the restaurant's menu specifications. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and measuring. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow during peak hours. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed. Follow recipes accurately while also being able to adapt to special dietary requirements or customer requests. Maintain equipment and utensils in good working order, reporting any issues promptly.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers. Culinary qualifications or relevant training would be advantageous but not essential.
